BlueSprig Clinical Committees
In order to provide the best possible care for our clients, we invest in clinical committees that work together to support our clinicians and ensure quality care.
Ethics Committee
The Ethics Committee is made up of individuals throughout BlueSprig and its Family of Companies committed to the mission of promoting and celebrating ethical behavior of all BlueSprig clinicians. The Committee does this by serving as a consultative body through which clinicians may seek ethical guidance, celebrating ethical successes, and connecting clinicians with ethics-related learning opportunities on their journey of changing the world for children with autism.
Grand Rounds Committee
The Grand Rounds team was established to support clinicians serving individuals with challenging clinical profiles and/or clients who are excelling. The team is comprised of internal and external subject matter experts from diverse backgrounds who provide collective consultation for BlueSprig and its Family of Companies.
Their participation enables the Grand Rounds team to provide the greatest interdisciplinary clinical guidance and allow for the best possible outcomes. The aim of the Grand Rounds process is to ensure treatment has the best possible impact on the quality of life for people with autism spectrum disorder and related disabilities through interdisciplinary collaboration.
Centralized Safeguarding Committee
The Centralized Safeguarding Committee was formed to provide organizational-level oversight of information pertaining to Reportable Events that include the use of restrictive interventions.
Our goals include: technical assistance on the use of all restrictive interventions implemented at BlueSprig and its Family of Companies; Clinical peer to peer collaboration to support the use of the least invasive evidenced-based procedures; Solution-oriented approach for addressing dangerous interfering behavior; and Providing expert-level case consultation supporting cases with specific and extraordinary clinical needs.
Research Committee
At BlueSprig, we strive to be at the forefront of emerging applied behavior analysis (ABA) practices. In an effort to ensure any research produced exemplifies our standards and commitment to changing the world for children with autism, we have created a Research Committee to review, approve, and monitor all research projects which utilize BlueSprig and its Family of Companies as a research site.
Advocacy Committee
The mission of the Advocacy Committee is to bridge the gap between the advocacy efforts of BlueSprig and its Family of Companies in order to change the world for all children with autism. The Committee aims to create a platform that provides opportunities for the BlueSprig communities to enact change for all people with autism, in keeping with the standards of practice for the sciences of the services employed, by reducing barriers and ensuring access to care for all current and long term needs.
