Head of Marketing and PR
Laurie is responsible for BlueSprig’s marketing, communications, and PR strategy. Her extensive
background in marketing and years of telling brand stories ensures a consistent message that drives
meaningful connections to the BlueSprig brand.
She has always been drawn to purpose in her work. Prior to joining BlueSprig, Laurie lived in Columbus,
Ohio and led the marketing and retail operations teams at Girl Scouts of Ohio’s Heartland. She was
responsible for driving marketing, PR, and retail product innovation for the national Girl Scout
convention in Columbus, hosting more than 10,000 people from around the world. She has led
marketing in the fast casual restaurant space for Panera Bread where she was responsible for marketing
and community philanthropy efforts for more than 30 locations. She co-founded a sports and
entertainment marketing agency where she launched personal brands and charitable foundations for
celebrity clients she managed. A true entrepreneur at heart, she’s also had a clothing line and three
stationery and gift boutiques.
Laurie earned her bachelor’s degree in journalism at the University of Houston. She loves being back in
her home state of Texas and enjoys evenings on the rooftop with her husband, Paul and their Wheaten
