Marketing & PR Manager

REPORTS TO:

Director of Marketing and PR

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Marketing & PR Manager will develop and implement communications plans in support of strategic objectives. This will be accomplished by copy writing and editing a variety of projects including printed publications, web content, and social media communications. The Marketing & PR Manager will communicate the Blue Sprig value proposition and enhance and protect its brand reputation.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Develop content across digital platforms, including but not limited to social media, blog posts, web content, social media content, photos, and videos.

Create, maintain, and grow presence across digital media platforms including, but not limited to Blue Sprig Website and Blog, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube. Must have experience creating content calendars and will ensure content created is aligned to channel and audience and is timed to maximize visibility to targeted audience.

Leverage insights and analytic tools to provide reports and develop ways to improve metrics through testing and new initiatives.

Write news releases, media relations content, story pitches, executive bios, newsletter content, scripts, and speaking proposals.

Participate in development of communications and strategic campaigns that drive client acquisition, revenue, or recruitment objectives.

Participate in content development for website and email marketing.

Participate in development of marketing toolkits and trainings for internal staff and clinical staff.

Copy edit, proofread, and revise communications per AP Style.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

BA or BS with focus on Marketing-

Advertising/Digital Marketing/Communications

Minimum 3 years of experience in marketing and communications work. Previous agency experience a plus.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, social media platforms, email marketing applications, CMS (Word Press a plus), and internet research.

Experience leveraging website and social media analytics tools, including but not limited to Google Analytics and Hootsuite.

Demonstrated experience with writing, reporting, and story-telling skills. Strong editing and proofreading skills. Applied knowledge of AP Style.

Strong organizational skills and ability to complete multiple, concurrent projects while meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results. Energetic self-starter able to make independent decisions in a fast-paced, changing environment.
